Standard Specification Manual

The Standard Technical Specifications Manual was designed by the City of Laredo to provide a collection of frequently used details and specifications to be used for various projects.

The Engineer shall be ultimately responsible for designing and selecting the appropriate material for each specific application. The selected materials shall be identified on the construction plans. Information from the referenced specifications has been included within this Manual for the convenience of the reader. However the engineer, contractor, or manufacturer must also assume the responsibility of familiarizing themselves with these requirements. The City will not assume responsibility for noncompliance with the referenced specifications as a result of information not provided in this Manual.

All Building construction should be in compliance with the following codes. Refer to the List of Standard Industrial Classification(SIC) Four-Digit Codes.
