The Laredo Breastfeeding Coalition (LBC) is a community group working collaboratively to raise awareness on the importance of protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding. Passionate members are committed to improving the health and well-being of mothers' and their infants' by creating nurturing environments that encourages and normalizes breastfeeding throughout Laredo. The LBC strives to help mothers meet the medical recommendation to provide only breastmilk through the first six months and continue breastfeeding up to two years or as long as mutually desired through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Members that join are dedicated to contributing their efforts, time, and advocacy to enhance the well-being of mothers and infants through education, awareness, and collaborative initiatives. Together, we aim to make Laredo a community that supports and celebrates breastfeeding.
