City of Laredo Public Health Department, Laredo Suicide Prevention Committee, and Laredo Chamber of Commerce Collaborate to Promote 988 Awareness 

Laredo, Texas – The City of Laredo Public Health Department, in collaboration with the Laredo Suicide Prevention Committee and the Laredo Chamber of Commerce, is launching a vital initiative to promote the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. This collaborative effort aims to distribute 988 awareness stickers to local establishments throughout Laredo, increasing visibility and access to this critical resource. The primary goal of this initiative is to raise awareness about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, a confidential, free resource available 24/7 for individuals in crisis or experiencing emotional distress. By distributing awareness stickers to local businesses, we aim to ensure that community members know where to turn for help and support.
