The Laredo & Webb County Area Metropolitan Planning Organization to Host Public Meeting
LAREDO, TX— The Laredo & Webb County Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (LWCAMPO) will host a public meeting scheduled for May 23rd, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. The meeting will be held at the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library’s multipurpose room (1120 E. Calton Road).
The MPO will receive public feedback on regional transportation needs for the Metropolitan Transportation Plan 2025-2050 (MTP) as part of the continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive transportation planning process. The MTP is a plan that identifies the most desirable and efficient means of meeting transportation needs for the next twenty-five years.
A public survey will be released to collect feedback on transportation needs across the region. The public is encouraged to take the survey at ?????tinyurl.com/lwcampomtp.
Written materials at the public meeting will be available in English and Spanish. Anyone who may need additional information or who needs auxiliary aid or services, such as interpreters, readers of large print or Braille, or a translator is requested to contact MPO Staff at (956) 794-1605 or via e-mail at aavigil@ci.laredo.tx.us two days before the meeting so arrangements can be made.
