City of Laredo Veterans Day Holiday Closure Notice 

LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo announces the closure of all administrative offices in observance of Veterans Day on Friday, November 10, 2023. All services will resume to normal operation hours on Monday, November 13, 2023. Various operations and services will continue to be offered, as indicated below:

Garbage & Recycling Collection

• Friday, November 10, 2023, regular pick-up schedule.
• NO lawn clipping or branch collection on Friday, November 10, 2023.

Landfill

• OPEN on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting).

El Metro Transit

• Fixed Route – Regular schedule on Friday, November 10, 2023.
• El Lift - Regular schedule on Friday, November 10, 2023.
• Administrative Office & Customer Service – Closed

The administrative office and customer service will resume regular business hours on Monday, November 13, 2023. For more information, please contact El Metro Customer Service Department at 956-795-2280.
