Back to School event - District 7

The City of Laredo, Mayor Pro Tempore and Councilmember for District 7, Vanessa Pérez, invite you to a Back to School event on Saturday, August 5th, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Fasken Recreation Center.
A collaboration between multiple sponsors will bring over 600 backpacks with supplies to our children to help families get ready for the new school year. At the event, in addition to the supply drive, we will have free haircuts in the gym, health services and screenings, food, music, and more.
Everyone who registered will have pick-up instructions for their supplies, but children must be present to claim. Registration is now closed and full, but the day of the event there will be backpacks on a first-come, first-serve basis.
*Quantities are limited. Children MUST be present to receive supplies.
