The Laredo & Webb County Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (LWCAMPO), hereby announces that a public meeting has been scheduled for November 21^st, 2024 at 5:30 P.M. The meeting will be held at the Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library (1120 E. Calton Road, Laredo, TX 78041; Multipurpose Room).

LWCAMPO will receive public feedback on the Draft 2025-2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) as part of the continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive transportation planning process.

The MTP establishes the long-term transportation policy agenda for the region. The MTP outlines regional transportation priorities and identifies transportation projects to meet regional transportation goals for the next twenty-five years, while remaining fiscally constrained.

All persons interested are invited to attend and provide their feedback. Written materials at the public meeting will be available in English and Spanish. Persons who may need additional information or who need auxiliary aid or services, such as: interpreters for persons who are deaf or hearing impaired, readers of large print or Braille, or a translator for the Spanish language are requested to contact MPO Staff at (956) 794-1605 or via e-mail at aavigil@ci.laredo.tx.us two working days prior to the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
