City of Laredo to Distribute Water Following Boil Water Notice
Laredo, Texas — The City of Laredo Emergency Operation Center has been activated due to the Boil Water Notice (BWN). Furthermore, the City of Laredo will begin water distribution to residents on Friday, October 11, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM at various designated locations throughout the city. This effort follows the recent boil water notice issued for the area.
Residents are encouraged to visit the nearest distribution site to receive bottled water for their household needs on a first come, first served basis, and with a limit of two cases per vehicle, per day.
The sites and addresses are:
- North Central Park - 10202 International Blvd.
- Haynes Recreation Center - 2102 Clark’s Crossing Dr.
- Freddy Benavides Sports Complex - 2100 Palo Blanco St.
- Veterans Field Parking - 2200 Santa Maria Ave.
The City will be hosting additional water distributions as needed and will keep the community informed, encouraging as well for the community to follow the official social media accounts on Facebook, at City of Laredo – Government, and on Instagram on @OfficialCityofLaredo.
