City of Laredo Public Health To Host International Overdose Awareness Day Candlelight Vigil 

Laredo, Texas – The City of Laredo, and the Laredo Public Health Department in collaboration with Myke’s Purpose, will host a candlelight vigil in observance of International Overdose Awareness Day. International Overdose Awareness Day is a global event that seeks to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died, and acknowledge the grief of the families and friends left behind. The Candlelight Vigil event will offer resources on overdose awareness and prevention along with a moment of reflection and solidarity for the Laredo community. Candles will be provided for the event.
