   • Approval of minutes for regular scheduled meeting October 11, 2023.

      

     Citizen comments

     Citizens are required to fill out a witness card and submit it to the Chairperson no later than 12:15 p.m. and identify themselves at the meeting before speaking to the corporation. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per speaker. No more than three (3) persons will be allowed to speak on any side of an issue. Should there be more than three (3) people who wish to speak on a particular issue, they need to select not more than three (3) representatives to speak for them and the presiding officer may limit the public comments further in the interest of an orderly meeting. Speakers may not pass their minutes to any other speaker. Comments should be relevant to Corporation business and delivered in a professional manner. No derogatory remarks will be permitted.

6. ACTION ITEMS

    

   • Appropriating revenues and expenditures in the amount $3,876,968.00 in the FY 23-24 Airport Operation Fund and authorizing the City Manager to execute all necessary documents between the City of Laredo and The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), to effectively convey the “surface only” of a 7.498 acre tract, as right-of-way, for the expansion of US Highway 59, with a fair market value of $3,876,968.00. Said tract is legally described as, a parcel of land located in the Dona Maria Gertudis Sanches Procion No. 27, Abstract No. 284, and in the Jane Guyman Survey No. 1714, Abstract No. 517, Webb County, Texas, being out of that certain 1,249.23 acre tract, conveyed from the United States of America to the City of Laredo in an Indenture executed February 25, 1975, recorded in Volume 478, Page 471, Deed Records Of Webb County, Texas; providing for severability; providing for an effective date.
