(Laredo, Texas – October 24, 2023) The City of Laredo is excited to announce the second Open House for the Del Mar Boulevard Zoning Overlay project. During the first Open House, held on April 14th, 2023, the community provided it's feedback and project priorities. This input played a pivotal role in shaping the proposed recommendations for the Del Mar Boulevard Zoning Overlay project. The upcoming meeting will provide attendees with information on the project's conclusions, proposed recommendations, and the proposed ordinance.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and will be held at the Laredo Fire Department Administration Building, located at 616 E Del Mar Boulevard, Laredo, TX 78045.

We cordially invite the public to join us at this Open House, where residents and property owners will have the opportunity to learn more about what a Zoning Overlay is, and how it can positively impact future neighborhood development in the Del Mar area.

This event will serve as an informative platform, addressing attendees' questions about the overlay, while also providing a forum for residents and business owners to share their valuable thoughts and ideas with the City and the project team throughout the entire process.
